Description

General:

The area is accessible by land and by sea. The depths of the route are between 0-25 meters and the substrate is mostly rocky.

Details:

We follow a narrow path from the rocks – the cave of the Cyclops overlooks at the seafront.

Entering the water, the substrate is initially rocky for about 50 meters (southeast), reaching 5 meters depth, having the land on our left.

The route continues in parallel with a wall reaching 10 meters in depth, where the substrate is sandy. Deeper, we reach the Posidonia meadows.

The route follows the eastern path with the wall on our left, while several large rocks appear with cavities at their base, where big fishes are usually present. The route continues for 150 meters, where the deepest point reaches 25 meters.

At the end, the depth decreases to 12 meters. There is a large wall with a sandy base, while the top of the wall reaches the surface of the water. From that wall, we start the return (to the west), following the shallow side of the wall, which we followed at the beginning, with the land at our right.

Progressively, the depth decreases gradually, allowing the divers to finish the dive passing some time in shallow water (5 meters depth), while making a safety stop.
