Accessible only from the shore, it is the introduction of new divers to the process of initiation into the world of the sea. It is a shallow area in Sarantari, Hersonisos that is used by the diving centres of the region as a location for training new divers.
The area is characterised by a rocky seabed, reefs with a varied mixture of macro-algae and various species of fish that characterise this ecosystem.
Up to a depth of 5 meters there is a varied landscape of reefs with small caves and openings, a place of play and discovery for many species of biodiversity.
Then Posidonia meadow makes its appearance. The meadow has several openings and parts of it grow on reefs. During the dive the visitor will observe various species of fish and invertebrates typical of the wider marine area. Depending on the season, you will be visited by Mayans from the deep blue, as known curious gossips who want everyone who “invades” their territory to be known by name!
The return will find us back on the vast shallow reefs until the end of the dive and back to shore.
